We spent 30 years hammering home the idea that sexual consent may be revoked at any time for any reason.

Then TRAs showed up to turn people into oppressors for withholding sexual consent.

Right? How did we lose the plot so quickly? Remember when we used to talk about rape culture and sexual entitlement? Haven't heard nary a whisper of those things from activists in at least 5 years.

If you think that genitals are so interchangeable that they're practically decorative, you're bad at sex.

If you think that most people would be content having one-sided orgasms with someone who can't stand being touched, forever, you're bad at sex.

Forgive me for not taking sex tips from someone who offers 'anime / video game astrology content'.

I need some time to digest the idea of charging, no, paying almost fifty dollars for a zodiac headcanon analysis.

And since they are bad at sex, then why would you care? You dodged a bad at sex lesbian.

Everything is transphobic and I don't care.

You know what? I'm perfectly fine with them thinking I am transphobic.

It's just "oh you don't want to fuck me? well you're a dog anyway!" with a homophobic twist.

Why yes, I AM bad at sex. Why do you think I'm 95% "a bottom?" It's the lazy way out.

Also I don't think I can help that I find vagina gross. And I don't mean "I'm not attracted to it" I mean I'm literally avoidant and repulsed, almost like a phobia. I've tried to change it, 'cause that doesn't seem normal, but nothing seems to work.

Sooo unless these TRAs wanna point me to some magical solution I don't think I will be touching "AFAB" people, mostly for their own feelings' sake, thank you. Trust me, you don't want to sleep with a guy who gets freaked out by your body. That's a recipe for disaster.

I'm the same way but toward male genitals. I don't care what shape they're in, they're still scrotal and penile tissue, and the thought is gag-inducing. It would be crueler to pretend to MtFs that it could be any different. Even if I were motivated to try, it wouldn't work. I couldn't conceal the natural revulsion.

If you've seen one of those shows where they make a cake look just like a hot dog, imagine someone who likes hot dogs but hates cakes. Even if it superficially looked appetizing before, once it's in your mouth, the illusion is broken.

Homosexual people of the world, how are you so consistently letting bisexual people roll over you like this?

[–][deleted] 15 insightful - 1 fun15 insightful - 0 fun16 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

They outnumber us and call us bigots when we call them out lol.

I've never even considered having the absolute gall to say that stuff to gay people. It's like everyone collectively woke up one day and forgot that gay people are a thing lol.

As much as people don't want to admit it, there has always been a certain subset of bisexuals who believe they are better than homosexuals because they're attracted to both sexes. The TRA movement has made them bold.

It reminds me of when I was prepubescent and decided I should be bisexual so I could maximize my options and be open-minded and stuff. Yeah, that didn't work. I bet some people had similar thoughts as kids before their sexuality matured, except they actually turned out bisexual and instead of recognizing it as a coincidence think it's the result of having a more open-minded outlook.

Well, tbf, bisexuality typically isn't even recognized as a sexual orientation at all (or "doesn't exist" in other words)... but, because of the inconvenient people who are attracted to both sexes, it's still gotta be accounted for somehow. What to do? I know: misinterpret as something else! Like "open-mindedness"! Which even the aformentioned inconvenient people may fall for, since we're not magically immune from believing the same crap that everyone else does (especially when it's among the less insulting options-- better this than "confused", "in denial", "phony", "greedy", or "indiscriminate").

So sure, it may sound flattering... but that flattery comes at a high price. Both to us bisexuals, and to you homosexuals. The sooner we're understood as just another plain ol' sexual orientation, the better.

I fail to understand how people fail to grasp that bisexuality as a sexual orientation exists. There is evidence of people who seek out sexual partners of both sexes outside of coercive circumstances such as lack of access to the opposite sex or extreme pressure to suppress homosexual desires. There clearly exist people confused about their sexuality, but they are hardly restricted to bisexuals.

Maybe it's just due to the assumption that sexual orientation is, by definition, monosexual. Because, after all... the REST of them are! Can make attraction exclusively to one sex seem like an essential feature.

There is evidence of people who seek out sexual partners of both sexes outside of coercive circumstances such as lack of access to the opposite sex or extreme pressure to suppress homosexual desires.

Sure... but the question is: how does one interpret this evidence? Would that the answer was always: like you! But that's not the case, sadly. All too many explain it with stuff like, "they're just confused/immature/slutty/poseurs/hearts-not-parts". Which all comes down to... REALLY gay or straight. Because, if sexual orientation is inherently monosexual... that's all there is. In other words: bisexuality doesn't exist.

There clearly exist people confused about their sexuality, but they are hardly restricted to bisexuals.

Undoubtedly; however, what with "you don't exist" being the default, we do get a LOT of help in being confused. To the point that it's actually rather hard to avoid. That we've never really had a movement/community of our own exacerbates this; it means that we spend our time in monsosexuals' worlds (either gay or straight), with predictable results.

[–]refusetoliein a time of universal deceit 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The main reason I am confused is because the definition of a sexual orientation is the sex(es) to which someone is sexually attracted. If someone exhibits strong evidence of being attracted to both, then by definition bisexuality exists. I can conceive of people being mistaken in the cause(s), or mistaken in the stability of it (for instance believing that no one is bisexual across the lifetime), but the "slutty" myth for instance - do those who endorse it believe that they are getting with both sexes out of desperation and don't truly enjoy sex with either males or females? Because if they do enjoy sex with both sexes, they are by definition bisexual. Unless they think that sluttiness is a cause of bisexuality, but even then it doesn't make sense to conflate them as promiscuity exists outside of bisexuality.

I'm going to stop trying to understand this as it is giving me a headache.

Don't black TGs get murdered at a higher rate than any other ethnicity?

[–]kwallio 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Yes. Most of them are sex workers in Brazil tho, where the murder rate is pretty high.

In the US apparently as well.

Lol @ these people for thinking "being transphobic" even means anything after what they had done to this word.
