These people are totally delusional (and homophobic), they think that neovags are the same as natural vaginas.

If you aren't into penis, and a girl has a penis, I can understand not being into that, thats aesthetics (though being open to it wouldn't hurt)

Imagine telling this to a gay man or a lesbian woman.

You’re literally saying you would sleep with a cis woman with a vagina, but a trans woman with a vagina and the exact same appearance would not work for you.

THEY ARE NOT THE SAME

Nobody here is going to force anyone to date a trans person. But if a trans person is fully transitioned, and you still reject them on the basis of being trans, then that is transphobic.

"Nobody is going to force anyone do date trans people... But if you do, you're a transphobic piece of shit who deserves to die"

Even if it was the same as a vagina, I wouldn't want to sleep with a man because he's still just a man. They can never grasp that point.

I don't care how well a man mimics the appearance of a woman or how genuinely he believes he's a woman. He is a man. I don't want him.

exactly, they live in this la la fantasy land and sure whatever have at it...but when they call OTHERS that dont think like they names, are cruel, and mob up against anyone else who thinks unlike them? this is where it a MASSIVE issue. they also get to make up their own science, and deem whatever they want as 'hate speech'. its written in their "law" book. https://www.iglyo.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/IGLYO_v3-1.pdf

The do say that to gay men, that a phalloplasty is indiscernible from a real penis. I just think it doesn't get much traction because anyone who has seen phalloplasty results know that the "penis" is an artistic representation made of flesh play-doh by someone who has never seen a penis in real life.

not to mention studies have been done and uh, the results aint good. here's a study i found from the Urology Journal :

"A total of 32 patients were identified: 22 underwent free radial forearm flap, 5 anterolateral (AN-TERO-LATERAL: : situated or occurring in front and to the side) thigh, 4 anterolateral thigh/free radial forearm flap, and 1 fibular flap phalloplasty. The median age at prosthesis implantation was 36 (range 21-59) years. At first implantation, 16 inflatable and 16 malleable prosthesis were placed. Of these, 5 were removed/replaced because of infection, 2 because of leakage, 2 because of extrusion, 2 because of dislocation, 2 because of dysfunction, and 1 because of pain. The postoperative course was completely uneventful in 10 patients. Of all implanted prostheses, including revision procedures were surgically replaced or removed. Their conclusion: Prosthesis explanation, replacement, or revision surgery occurs frequently after penile prosthesis implantation. Patients need to be well-informed preoperatively on these complication rates."

[–]fuck_reddit 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I meant "want" as in "really desire" compared to semi-desire. But yes, if someone doesn't want sex, it is rape.

TBH I think that most of the people who repeat this shit are 100% aware that their chances of even meeting someone with surgical genitals is pretty low so they don't bother looking up what any of them actually look and feel like. It doesn't affect them.

"Genital preferences". Sure bro. I could honestly give a shit about your genitals, I do care what SEX you are.

You are being rejected because you are NOT of the sex class that the person is attracted to. And hate to further burst your bubble, but rejecting someone for having a mental disorder is also perfectly OK.

These people are feeding irrealistic expectations to each other. Imagine undergoing a SRS convinced that you will be like other women and then discover that people rejects you anyway. No wonder the suicide risk increases post op.

These are deeply disturbed people who think that living a fantasy will magically cure their problems. The fact that they act like the neo-vaginas are the same as natural ones is ridiculous.

[–]lovelyspearmintLesbeing a lesbian 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I don't even think a majority believe this anyway. Why do you think that such a large amount of them are promoting girl dick and bussy? It's because they know that it's not like the real thing and they'd rather not go through that if there is the possibility that they can have the trans label and status benefits without any unnecessary operations. This is especially reflected by how lax self-ID laws are. The only ones who have the operations are the ones who seriously believe they're the opposite gender.

[–]SapphicFox 26 insightful - 9 fun26 insightful - 8 fun27 insightful - 9 fun -  (12 children)

They can shout "transphobia!" until they're blue in the face an open wound which promotes mold growth is not a vagina. I'd rather submerge my lower half in a cement mixer than ever go near that and I'm not even a lil' bit sorry about saying that. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

[–]loveSloaneSuperDuperBi 19 insightful - 1 fun19 insightful - 0 fun20 insightful - 1 fun -  (10 children)

Mold growth?! I’ve never heard this. Yikes.

'After amplification of the neovaginal DNA extracts with primers that target the ITS2-region of the rRNA cistron of Fungi and size determination of the amplified ITS2 by means of capillary electrophoresis, 6 specimens revealed an amplicon. Three specimens could not be sequenced and the remaining three sequences were identified as molds (resp. Davidiella tassiana, Lycoperdon perlatum and Phaeosphaeria sp.).'

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2695466/

Just after 'table 3' of that link. There's other studies out there about this topic also but basically neo-vagina's dont have the ability to self clean like natural vaginas do so are prone to this kind of fungal growth.

[–][deleted] 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

When they say "could not be sequenced" does that mean they didn't have the tools to identify the specimens or that the specimens have not been seen before, ie they are totally new kinds of fungi in the neovagina?

[–]wafflegaffWoman. SuperBi. 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Some very light Googling suggests that this just means the process of sequencing could not be completed because of some sort of issue with the sample. Someone else can elaborate on this if they have time to find a good source.

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Thanks!

[–]kwallio 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Usually that means they didn't get enough amplicon to sequence. Could be problems with the pcr reaction or something else, doesn't say anything about the source except that something in the sampling and analysis went wrong.

Which makes sense, because it'd be one of the only places on one's body to retain moisture in a prolonged fashion unnaturally.

Lol, and they are saying "it is the same as real vagina!". While in reality it is really dangerous to go down on them or do any kind of tribing or even do hetero sex with them - it is seems often having some fungi there and microbes, unlike real pussy which is self-cleaning and sterile.

[–]GoValidateYourselfuseful lesbian 27 insightful - 1 fun27 insightful - 0 fun28 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

No thanks, not interested in catching an antibiotic-resistant staph infection from some "surgical vagina". It's not the same thing as a real vagina, and never will be. Real vaginas aren't open wounds that harbor infectious bacteria.

[–]HelloMomo 16 insightful - 7 fun16 insightful - 6 fun17 insightful - 7 fun -  (2 children)

Real vaginas aren't open wounds that harbor infectious bacteria.

...holy shit. Neovaginas are basically everything that men have ever feared about actual vaginas, aren't they?

Do you think they-- no, what am I saying, of course they have NO idea what vaginas are actually like. Like, that's insane.

[–]SkinnyVanilla 27 insightful - 1 fun27 insightful - 0 fun28 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

They're in there saying "do u think it would be okay to reject a cis woman for such-and-such?"

Dude, YES. It is okay to reject anyone for any reason. Everyone gets to decide who they want to give access to their body. None of your sexual boundaries make you bad or are up for debate with people who aren't you. Not wanting to fuck someone doesn't make you bigoted against them, including not wanting to fuck cis women with whatever cancer history that you think is a gotcha argument. It is okay to reject anyone for any reason.

trans people don't tend to want to sleep with those who see us as lesser.

Unless those are gays and lesbians. Then you want them even when they don’t want you.

[–]oyasuminasai50 10 insightful - 4 fun10 insightful - 3 fun11 insightful - 4 fun -  (0 children)

Who cares if it's transphobic or not? The fact of the matter is that the vast majority of people have a preference for one type of natural genitals. Period. Doesn't matter if it's transphobic or not at the end of the day. No amount of calling people transphobic is going to get people to be attracted to your genitals. These people will have to accept that sooner or later.

[–]Rosefield 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I will never ever ever touch multilated dick. Also nearly everything is transphobic anyway so it doesn't matter.

People with legitimate medical problems suffer and DIE due to lack of medical insurance, but trans people can get butt and breast implants on the government dime?

[–]VioletRemiCat, homosexual one 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Now? It always was.

It was "post-op is like real woman, so you as lesbian should love it, but you are just transphobic" for years, I think I've met that for the first time 7 or 8 years ago.

Nowadays it is different, it is "pre-op girldick is feminine and it is transphobic for lesbian to not like girldick".
