Someone really said “you see an unwilling cis gay man, grab a knife and teach him a lesson”.

And 62 people agreed with them. This is madness.

Why don't these gay transmen date each other if the penis isn't so important?

Or better yet, they could save themselves a whole lot of trouble by dating straight men who have fully functioning penises and actually want vaginas.

[–]EverydayIsSad[S] 24 insightful - 1 fun24 insightful - 0 fun25 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

I know you know all the answers to those questions! But I'm going to answer them for anyone who doesn't know, because those are good questions! The answer is people who believe in gender identity separate genitals from sex (many of them even think sex is a social construct) and think a man can have a vagina or a woman can have a penis. Obviously that's impossible and is a false belief. But the point is the women who believe they are men go from this basic false belief: that a man can have a vagina and a woman can have a penis. Since they think they are men, and they are attracted to men, they think they are gay men and should date gay men now, because gay men are men only attracted to men.

And when gay men reject these women, they call them "transphobe" because they think: "a man can have a vagina! why don't these gay men accept men with vaginas, we are still men".

The gender identity belief is really messy, and sinister.

The trans crowd invented their own rules about how sexuality works and are super angry that homosexuality doesn't work like they want.

They want identity valitation 24/7

They want sex with the people they chose

They want the l & g communities to be all about them

From their pov homosexuals chose to reject them because of hate. They believe homosexuality is a choice and not dating trans people is a bad choice.

These people are homophobic lunatics.

[–]EverydayIsSad[S] 20 insightful - 1 fun20 insightful - 0 fun21 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

100% agree with you! The people that believe in gender identity are homophobic, all of them. They are separated into two groups of: 1) women and men who force gay people to consider sleeping or dating the opposite sex, the method they use: brainwashing gay people to believe "men can have vaginas too" or "women can have penises too". And 2) gay/bi people who hate being gay/bi and believe in gender identity to erase their existence as gay and act like they are straight (e.g. Blaire White, the reason he thinks he is a woman in a straight relationship is because he has internalized homophobia and hates being gay. And just a bit ago I heard the lesbian Ellen Page thinks she is a man, I bet on this it's because she has internalized homophobia and wants to erase her existence as a gay woman).

Why don't gender identity believers ever target straight people? Because it's on their agenda to convert gay people and gay people only. And that got me to oppose those who believe in gender identity immediately

The more you analyze trans 'logic' the more you come to see that they don't believe their own bullshit.

Most 'gay' transmen don't date other transmen because on an innately visceral level they are turned off by vagina. They also know that would mean they don't see transmen (including themselves) as real men. They know their identity rests on a house of cards. They're also homophobic so they don't understand that actual gay men feel the same way they do about vagina. They hide behind phrases like 'other transmen make me dysphoric' if anyone questions their hypocrisy, but the reality is these are straight girls so of course they don't want vagina. It's a really simple and sad line of reasoning.

They try to bully everyone else into blind acceptance because if they are anything but steadfast in their beliefs that gives others a chance to see all of the holes in their logic. That's why so many of them try to deplatform and silence the opposing side.

They white knight and virtue signal so hard because that's all they have to stand on when you peel back the layers of trans 'logic'.

The gender identity belief is really messy, and sinister.

I have a relatively simple model of the moral universe: most things that are "sinister" are divorced from nature/reality (which encompasses the biological world as well as, IMHO, some things that most people in our society would view as "supernatural") and vice-versa: most things that are divorced from nature/reality end up being sinister one way or another.

Thank you for compiling this. I do maintain that we need those sources to be located outside of google photos because of the security concerns. But I am far from a tech person so I don't know who created the source and what the best alternatives are.

I didn't see the transparadox resource until recently, and it's great. The contradictions are seemingly endless. I think my gateway transparadox was thinking "is this a freaking medical condition or not?" Like you're saying if people don't get medical intervention in the form of hormone blockers, exogenous hormones, and various surgeries, they will commit suicide, but this isn't a medical issue? And doctors shouldn't be allowed to do anything but affirm, administer drugs, and perform surgery? And then on top of that, still only self-ID is needed? If they need all these procedures or else they'll commit suicide, why is self-ID the standard and not getting those procedures ? Like are these medical interventions necessary or not and, if so, how are they not medical? Yea, anyway, that spirals into so many more paradoxes.

I would like there to be a similar source, which is something to the effect of "false gotchas." Like things they point to as examples for one thing, but are really indicative of something else entirely (and often something distasteful or sinister). This isn't a great example, but in response to the GC argument that transgenderism doesn't challenge gender stereotypes but is premised on gender stereotypes and in effect reinforces them (i.e. if you are female and don't comport with X Y Z stereotypes for women, that means you're not a woman or accepting an individual female's lack of identification with womanhood based on failure to comport with those stereotypes as a valid basis for her to not be considered a woman), and pointing to opportunists who have no intention of "passing" as examples where this is not the case (e.g., the insulting "butch transbian" concept).

[–]reluctant_commenter 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Of course, no problem!! I totally agree that Google Photos is not the best way to save and display these. I am also concerned about security issues and anyway, I don't even know who's hosting those links.

I didn't see the transparadox resource until recently, and it's great. The contradictions are seemingly endless.

Right?! I think that one is actually my favorite, especially for asking pretending-I'm-dumb questions to TRAs. People never have a good answer, lol.

YUP.

Your idea of "false gotchas" is a great one. E.g. "what about intersex people?! The existence of intersex people means that trans people are real!" is probably a good one. Same lines: "There are some people who don't have XX or XY chromosomes, therefore gender is complicated!" when they also say that gender != sex... lol.

Maybe this is something I should message the mods about for input, but I would love a more permanent place to share some of these resources-- links, statistics, etc. We really have a pretty good collection going over the course of the past several months just from posts in this sub, but I keep sharing resources in one-off conversations with individuals. It would be nice if we could have a link to some of these on the sidebar, or something. Do you have any ideas for increasing visibility of these sorts of links and resources?

edit: I could think of categories like:

  • arguments TRAs make ("transparadoxes" and your "false gotchas" list idea)

  • homophobic pro-transgender comments (the 4 links I shared, for example)

  • news articles about transing children / homophobic motivations for transgender medical interventions (links we could easily share with friends and family, like this: https://archive.is/zy6PA)

  • research studies and statistics that illuminate some of the red flags of trans medicalization (e.g. super high rates of autism spectrum disorder, PDs, anxiety disorders, etc. but no screening for them when people show up to get puberty blockers)

We do have a little organization of this stuff already, with tags on posts, but many posts are not tagged and many people don't think to sort by tags, anyway.

Someone with a background in marketing would have a better idea. Actually my best friend is in marketing and she can be rather blasé about misinformation campaigns/Cambridge Analytica type things because she’s like “yea that’s what marketing is.” She’s terven thankfully. She and her bf peaked through me because as I was peaking, I was sharing with her all of the stuff I was learning as I was learning it and developing my thinking. So I should check with her on some of this.

I have also thought that it would be helpful if we had a poll that where we can, anonymously to the extent we need to, enter the fields we work in, so that we can understand where our expertise lies. We all have different strengths we can bring to the table and we are each best suited to put together materials based in our own areas of expertise. I wouldn’t have peaked or learned what sources I could trust/distrust on these issues until I had enough personal knowledge that I could tell who was lying (“Nobody is saying/doing X” when I had experienced countless examples). So scary to have so little scrutiny (or knowing lies) at what are supposed to be the highest levels of journalism.

Sounds good. I might try to find some examples of well-organized resource lists on Reddit subs, that we could model after.

That sounds like a fantastic idea!! I think if we had a poll like that, people would be interested. If we're concerned about anonymity, I know PeakingPeachEater is into cybersecurity, maybe she would have some tips...

And you're so kind to ask me how I'm doing, I'm better today than I was a few days ago. Most days I'm too numb to get up from the bed every morning, and the few things that make me happy just don't do the job sometimes. But I'm still trying here and fighting to make myself feel better (ง •̀ω•́)ง✧

I'm doing okay.. I've really been struggling to enjoy a lot of the hobbies I normally do. At this point, my fallback plan is to just keep taking walks everyday and doing the bare minimum, and try to make it through to next year, lol. I know, super inspiring. Thanks for asking. :)

First it was just existence itself that was an issue, it was/is hard for me to deal with but when I saw the number of people supporting trans people and their gender identity ideology increase I started feeling worse. So many gay men and gay women have gotten hurt because of them. Everyday I lost more hope, until now I believe it will get worse, one day no sane human would be left and everyone would be brainwashed ༼☯﹏☯༽ At least we got each other and this place for now. I hope what I think will happen doesn't actually happen though.

I completely feel you. I know it’s been a rough ride. But that you have made it this far is really something brave! Amidst all the bad things that happen in existence, you are continuously making it through. You are getting stronger and stronger each day! You have to give yourself credit for that. We are fighting the same battle so don't worry, we can help each other get through it even more easily. I wish I could give you and everyone here a real hug but because I can't a virtual hug is the least I can do hugs you ⊂(´・ω・`⊂)

I remember back on r/gendercritical there was a case discussed of a women, uhm ... I mean a trans MAN, who was camping outside of a clinic in London in protest. She was there for some kind of gender surgery, and they removed her vagina (= vaginal channel, I guess). But, surprise, for some reason she wanted to be a man, but still wanted to keep her vagina. Not making fun of someone who received a surgery that they not actually requested ... but I find it absurd to claim to be a MAN, but still desire PIV-sex, and the possibility of pregnancy. Not that manly after all, huh??

I'll never understand this. If you like your genitals and want to have sex with your natal genitals, what makes you the opposite sex? A lot of trans men even say they want to have kids. You can't get more biologically female than that.

I know they get hysterectomies and phalloplasties, but I didn't think doctors did anything to the vaginal canal. I thought I read in some cases, they sew the opening shut. In others, I'm not sure.

I don't want to know too many details. I'm glad the majority of trans men do not opt for any of these surgeries. It sounds like a lot of money and medical risk for poor results.

It's almost like we're focused on the men because even the TRA movement forgets about the women. Seriously, you'll see something "transphobic" posted that would hurt FtMs and ALL the comments will be about MtFs' suffering. It was very eye opening for me when JKR's comment about periods brought all the MtFs home to roost, even in all the traitorous rants from celebrities, when in actuality "women have periods" only misgendered FtMs.
