Yeah it's pretty prevalent in online communities, where heterophobia is deemed as "impossible" and played off as a joke. Stuff like, "straight people ew" or "straight people sucks!" without even any disclaimer, but if anyone gets offended, they will immediately say that it's a joke. It's not even just towards straight people but also towards "cis" people, and collectively, "straight and cis". The most targeted group is probably, "straight cis white males".

The amount of hypocrisy in all these jokes, and videos and what not reeks tbh, and imo mostly comes from the younger generation and is getting out of hand. This is also part of why "LGB(T+)" acceptance has gone down over the years.
