I was looking to see whether reddit is talking about Keira Bell at all. Surprise, surprise it's mostly crickets. They don't debate or discuss things. They vacuum seal themselves away from anything that could threaten their cognitive dissonance. Anyway, I got banned for "transphobia" from a social justice-oriented subreddit for making this and only this comment in response to someone saying correlation does not equal causation with respect to the fact that nearly 100% of children put on puberty blockers go on to take cross-sex exogenous hormones and other further medical interventions:

In the vast majority of cases, children with gender dysphoria who want to be the opposite sex desist on their own by or around puberty. Puberty helps things click into place because you realize a lot of what you’re feeling is tied to being attracted to the same sex, if there is no medical intervention. The vast majority of them will grow up to be non-dysphoric gay or bisexual adults. There is currently no way to distinguish between these kids and those whose dysphoria will persist and who will want to transition to treat it. Also, gender dysphoria is very common among people attracted to the same sex generally, especially in youth, but transition is not the right solution for most of them. Gay actor Rupert Everett said he wanted to be a girl until he was 15 and that if he were young today, he probably would be transitioning.

This now qualifies as transphobia. HOW? Has a trans-identifying person ever gotten banned from anywhere on reddit for homophobia, I wonder? What would it even take at this point? It worries me how numb these people are to common sense. What little curiosity they have. How is it that they think they're so open-minded but they are so close-minded to facts and to the suffering of the vast majority of the human population?
