The "drop the T" movement is just a bunch of transphobic "pick me" girls who want heterosexual cis people to like them. In reality, you don't want or need a LGB safe space exclusive to cis people: You just want a safe space to be transphobic without being challenged.

You realize gay men frequent here, too, right? It's not just "girls". Also, why wouldn't I want heterosexual people to like me? They're the fucking majority of people in this world, I'd like to have positive relationships with people who aren't in my little "queer" validation bubble.

I think we do need spaces for actual LGB people, sure, I like heterosexuals and all but they don't get it, even if they dress in drag or get tons of cosmetic surgery, they'll never know what it's like to be homosexual or bisexual. I don't mind being challenged on my "transphobia", the people who engaged with me in a genuine and non-reactionary manner have come around to many of my points and share my concerns.

Hell, I used to be "nonbinary" when I first started really reading "transphobic" views. Do yourself a favor and read the forbidden text, really digest it, and see how you feel.

    It's good practice. Plus, new observers scrolling through will have a chance to see us lay out our points in response to (admittedly probably fake) opposition. There's value to be had in this, even if helping us was the last thing he likely wanted to do.
