My question is: How can we step up and say, "Hey, we are not neo-nazis and we are LGB people who want to drop the T" without getting massively harrassed/attacked?

It is a catch-22. Because:

  • If we don't speak up and demonstrate that that there are fair, reasonable people who are opposed to the transing of children and the gender lobby, then strawmen ("you're all actually neo-nazis!/not real LGB people!") will abound.

  • If we DO speak up, then we will be harrassed in massive waves and risk being doxxed. Examples: Tiktok teenage lesbian who apologized for not being into dick after loads of harrassment; the author of the "response to the comphet document" (she is very queer-theory-happy and people still harrassed her in droves...)

Thoughts? This is also on my mind in part because of the (hilarious) takeover of the "LGBT+ signatures" website. We've gotta get exposure.

Normal people know what Nazis stand for. Homophobia is a core component. It is absurd that a large group of LGB people are "nazis" or that "nazis" support them, and anyone with a cursory knowledge of Nazi/neo-Nazi ideology knows this implicitly.

This is a classic (in Internet terms) attempt to demonize a group via Godwin's law. This hand has been overplayed many times and is fraying. To the determent of wider societal acknowledgement of actual white supremacy, but also to the benefit of those to whom the "you're a Nazi/Nazis like you so you're bad" slur is leveled.

In other words, let them shout into their void. It's a sign we're winning.

As I've said in another thread recently, it's funny because they love saying that you can't question someone's sexuality, but the moment you disagree with them they question your sexuality.

It's also funny because they love saying that gay men are transphobic, that Grindr is transphobic, they love complaining about lesbian "TERFs"... I wonder where the transphobic gay men are, then, since according to them we're all straight people pretending to be LGB.

So the guy who started this is a youtube/twitch gamer personality named Jim Sterling who got into an online flamewar with a lesbian gamer back in 2011. After calling her a "c**t" and "feminazi slut", some bloggers looked through his online posting history and found that he is most definitely an unabashed anti-feminist misogynist.

In recent years he has reinvented himself as a queer pansexual nonbinary they/them. Perhaps to shield himself from gamergate? No doubt he'd be cancelled by now if he didn't self-identify out of being a man.

Okay... that's a very good point. Them getting quoted by BBC on that article or whatever recently was pretty big. Maybe I am expecting change on too short of a timeline. It just amazes me to see the headlines when you search LGB Alliance, and know that they are filled with a bunch of lies, Headlines that they are a "hate group" and "nazis" (according to a "genderfluid enby"). It's crazy.

The way to combat it is to point out what should be obvious through simple questions. You’re not going to peak the TRA crazies but you will plant a seed in the minds of reasonable people. For example:

  • What did LGBAlliance do or say that is transphobic? Can you point me to their exact words and explain why it’s transphobic?

  • Why shouldn’t people who experience attraction that can only be described as attraction to the same sex (not the same gender) have a single organization that represents us and upholds the existence of same-sex attraction? Especially when most countries do not have same sex rights but there is no issue for those attracted to the same gender but opposite sex.

  • Why shouldn’t LGB people have a single organization focused only on our rights and interests when trans people have tons of their own and LGBAlliance isn’t trying to prevent them from existing?

  • Isn’t it insensitive for trans people to accuse LGB people of being neo nazis when the Nazis targeted and imprisoned people for homosexuality but not for being transgender?

Gender activists go silent when they can’t answer questions or they seek to distract. If they distract, keep reiterating the question and point out that they’re avoiding it and why can’t they give an answer? IMO, we must be firm but keep the moral high ground so as to be persuasive to those who are not fully in on gender. MOST people have a million questions and see red flags and just need a nudge and someone to explain wtf is going on with this gender bullshit.

He thinks anything liberal is woke. To me, woke is horseshoe theory in action. Where you go so far left that you end up closer to far right. For example, a woke person’s hyperfocus on one’s “identity” and race, judging people based on membership in groups premised on involuntary, immutable traits alone ends up acting more like far right ‘phobes and racists.
