The comments on reddit are, as is expectable, an absolute shit show.

In both ukpolitics and unitedkingdom, the threads are submitted and dominated by trans-identified males attacking the LGB Alliance and anyone who dares question puberty blocking drugs.

It's ok, there are high profile cases being brought in the UK that question the medical pathway model and growing numbers of detransitioners. I wonder where all these performative bores will be in 5 years?

The constant lies, harassment and smears haven't worked so far, and they'll continue to fail. The way LGB Alliance have approached this just means that when they're attacked for saying reasonable things their point its proved but the kids are too inexperienced to realise. LGB Alliance aren't speaking to them, they're speaking to the people who are on the fence.

PS: I love living on TERF Island.

That's true about the court cases, I do worry about the lies and smearing working though. A poster there who claims not to have heard of them before just unquestioningly accepts someone telling him they're a hate group.

Then again it does seem like they're being listened to by the people that matter; e.g. the BBC giving them a comment. The Labour Party also seems to be less willing to bow to the trolls now - it doesn't seem to be acknowledging any of their demands over Rosie Duffield, Jess Phillips, etc.

If things do continue in that direction, I suspect it will be very hard to find anyone who admits to having backed them before. They'll always find a way to pretend they were always on the so called 'right side of history'.
