Favorite quotes:

Yes, so it's gone full-circle to where you now need to stay in the closet to avoid the LGBT Religion, instead of Christianity or Islam.

And:

Why would you even want to support something that treats you badly? You might as well join the Catholic Church at this point, the treatment would assuredly be better.

And:

LQGTBBwhatsit has its own transubstantiation - eg, that a transman may, by some supra-normal or paranormal means? - be converted into a male.

And:

Faith in dogma + ritual = result. It's literally magical thinking. Explains why a lot of trans rhetoric has an almost mystical edge to it. born in the wrong body , personal journey, self actualisation

I think I'd respect it all more if it just openly admitted it was a cult.

Bonus:

Can we drop this myth that trans people won gay people rights? It's an Americancentric lie.

As a former Catholic who was tormented by homophobic religious relatives on the extreme end, I really appreciate this discussion. Loved the observation about transubstantiation (the Catholic belief) being remarkably similar to gender ideology's "undergo medical procedures / hormone therapy and become a man".

Faith plus ritual equals result... that sounds more like a cult than just magical thinking. Magical thinking is, "If I put out milk and cookies, Santa will bring me presents" the ideology of, "If I undergo and encourage others to also undergo expensive, irreversable, life changing surgeries, then I'll be happier because I will be the opposite sex" is more of a cult

Actually, by the academic definition, that IS what "magical thinking" is. There's a book called The Golden Bough by James George Frazer, the founder of modern anthropology, that talks about this kind of magical thinking and how this type of belief were the foundational for many pantheistic belief systems.

But, yes, it is really culty as well.

Oh. Damn. I didn't think that was a legit term. Thanks for the info!

No problem! I do think people often use that phrase casually in the way that you did as well, so it can be easy to mistake which meaning was meant.

That also shows why it's important to make sure terms and symbols meant to convey a specific meaning or definition should not be easily confused or made up on the spot. Like the biohazard symbol, iirc, underwent a ton of testing to see if people would think it meant something and remember it. It had to be meaningless to avoid confusion but memorable. They had a bunch of potential symbols, and the one we see on every needle is the one that was the most memorable and meaningless, and probably won't end up as a random doodle due to being compex enough

Homosexuality doesn't disappear. Gender dysphoria - the wish to change gender, in a lot of cases unless transition has already started, often does.

This is my favourite comment but it's already getting downvotes. Somehow in the last few years we've come from a lot of kids/teens having discomfort with their bodies but then growing out of it - to the TRA brigade insisting that immediate transition is the one and only cure for dysphoria and it never goes away on its own/nothing but transitioning will ever make it go away

Also loved this comment:

“To learn who rules over you simply look to those you cannot criticize.”

while the quote is true it wasn't said by Voltaire. it was by a neo-nazi pedo named Kevin strom

Fascinating, thanks for the info. Googling a little more that makes sense, given that Voltaire lived under a monarchy, so it probably would've been more obvious for him who ruled over him, lol.

“Incel.”

One thing we need to discuss and point out each time it happens is the misuse of the word incel by gender activists. They keep calling us “incel” for considering biological sex to have meaning and for not being attracted to the opposite sex regardless of that persons feelings about who we should be attracted to. That’s not what an incel is. That’s the opposite of what an incel is. Incel = involuntary celibate who is hostile to members of the sex(es) they are attracted to not being sexually interested in them and having happy relationships and sexual interactions with people they are attracted to. This word is being used by rape-y trans people most frequently in the context of homosexual people not wanting to fuck the opposite sex. CALL. THAT. SHIT. OUT.

Point out why they are the incels. They will make some stupid comment about “bioessentialism.” Get them to define that if you care or point out that it’s a meaningless buzz word that seeks to intellectualize and recoceptualize homosexuality as unnatural and an act of bigotry pushed by homophobic incels. When they inevitably talk about how they don’t want to fuck you, how no trans person wants to fuck you, and how plenty of “cis gay people” want to fuck them, say “Good then I expect to see no further posts from you or other trans people whining about gay people not wanting to fuck you or asking if they would fuck trans people, which seems to make up the majority of what your demographic posts in here.” We really need to start reacting HARD to the incel line.

Looks like more people are stepping back and seeing the reality of things day by day.
