Reddit is a dump. A hugbox. People need to stay away from that website.

I can confirm.

I was called a transphobe and that I ''don't think that trans people should have any rights'' just because I said that JK Rowling is not a TERF and showed them screenshots of trans rights extremists being homophobic and hateful overall.

They didn't even listen to what I had to say and perfered to just call me a transphobe over and over lol. To dissapoint you more, you will find them in ANY sub, even in those completely unrelated to gender ideology .-.

Everything is "transphobic" to these fools LMAO. Thankfully though, if this continues "transphobe" will lose all power as an insult just like TERF did, and it will continue to peak moderate TRAs who dare to ask questions.

you will find them in ANY sub, even in those completely unrelated to gender ideology

It feels like there's some kind of unwritten rule on Reddit that every single sub must have one or more trans-identified mods, who will then censor everyone who doesn't chant TWAW. And every sub must have a pinned post that says "TW are welcome here!!! TERFs and bigots begone!!!1". They know they can only spread their ideology by astroturfing and censoring all critical thought...

Reddit has been banning people and subreddits who oppose the hive mind, so this doesn’t surprise me. I’ve been telling people that I’m boycotting the site.

Yeah, it's 'not cool' to say that men and transwomen are the only people who can potentially have penises.

The 'laughing stock' comment was a response to something I said that went along the lines of: "our willingness to accept our own commercialisation by companies that have no care for our rights makes us look like laughing stocks, like we have to pandered and babied because of something we can't control. It makes us look rather childish."

So, I'm now a homophobe because I disapprove of the exploitation of my community, and a transphobe for stating biological reality (the comment they dug out was made several days before I even made this post, In a discussion of 'genital preferences'.)

It’s really interesting to see parts of the oppressed groups reach acceptance only to grasp onto the sense of belonging to a norm and excluding themselves from the spaces they come from.

Translation: not all minorities will buy all our bullshit and they won’t advocate against their self-interest because we pretend we’re oppressed. Let’s vilify them!

    Also:

    reach acceptance

Yeah right. We still have a long way to go on that front.

The legalization of gay marriage was the worst thing to happen to these people. Suddenly they didn't have a material, significant political cause to fight for. Now they have to whine about the most insignificant things to muster the same sense of moral/intellectual superiority. They actually like it when people are biogted because it gives them an opportunity to virtue signal in front of everyone and get that sweet upvote/like button-induced dopamine boost.

"Gay men are the most accepted group". No. They are not. Hell even as a lesbian I can see that. Gay men are the ones to still get the most hate and violence directed at them. Probably much more than their beloved trans people who they claim are the most oppressed people in the entire planet.

"the most accepted group within the LGBTQ community" "parts of the oppressed groups" "excluding themselves from the spaces they come from"

Is it just me that don't feel like a part in a broader "Queer" group? Whatever group I am part of is exclusively for gay men. I have about 0 interaction with genderist/trans groups.

The commenter seems to think that we are all peas in a pod and cannot exist without each other, but being homosexual is really a unique experience that exists on its own without gender identity ideology.
