As in, "Teens are drawn to trans ideology as a manifestation of their anxiety and low self-esteem, much like anorexic teens of the past, or teens who committed self-harm, or teens drawn to emo or punk sub-culture. However, what makes this phenomenon so much different from those phenomena of yesteryear is the backing of powerful nonprofits like HRC and GLAAD as well as the medical establishment."
