Pride should not exist outside of areas that criminalise bi and homosexuality.

EDIT: I mostly think this because I have no 'pride' about what the Alphabet Club has became.

Well, a date to commemorate the accomplishments and rights achieved in the last 50 years is not a bad thing in my book. The problem starts when 'Pride' stops being a movement centered around people to become corporate garbage.

You say that as if pride is not saturated with corporate garbage already.

Whenever Pride rolls around, I just think: "oh, (insert company here) wants to sell me (insert product here) that's decorated in rainbow colours or some shit."

I wouldn't mind if it was simply a time where we could celebrate the rights we've worked to achieve, but I can't say I resonate with the fundamental values of pride anymore. I've tried going to a parade, and it was just fucking weird. It just makes us look ridiculous, at least in my eyes.

This is sad, very sad. I remember seeing a freaking pride Doritos, a pride Doritos. This shit had reached parody levels of absurdity and people doesn't seem to notice that corporations care nothing about gay or lesbian rights, but only about their own capacity to make profit off of them.

If tomorrow hard repression against gay and lesbians come back, they are going to be the first ones to throw them under the buss. The second ones are going to be the danger hairs and genderspecials.
