how is it that Joe Rogan, a stoner comedian, is doing more journalistic work than journalists lmfao 😂

no wonder ppl watch his show - what other person with a large platform is talking about these issues?

Edit: Also, love seeing a gay man stand up for a lesbian. You can tell he was fucking pissed off at how easily people turned their backs on Martina Navratilova, who had the audacity to tell facts. Who did a lot for women in sports.

its not even a matter of journalism... its just being allowed to have the conversation.

Did you watch the whole episode? Besides the Martina Navratilova bit, I watched the episode from the beginning which talked about journalistic integrity. That's the bit I was referring to. Regardless, it's still crazy that JRE is one of the only big platforms that these things can be talked about without mudslinging. As you said, conversation is allowed to happen.

i meant it was worse than good or bad journalism, it was not even allowing people to talk about it. I wasn't disagreeing with you.

I watched to the end, it was a good podcast.

If the enemy of your movement is Martina Navratilova—if that's somebody who you're declaring to be a hateful bigot, not welcome in decent company—who are your fucking allies!?

Jonathan 'Jessica' Yaniv?

Or maybe Danny 'it's ma'am' Savage?

Or maybe Danny 'it's ma'am' Savage?

I had to watch that video again. Endless entertainment. "You keep calling me a man which quite clearly I am not," uttered in lower tenor, while engaging in a public freakout that would be, um, unusual for a "ma'am".

That video is my guilty pleasure, I admit.

When I'm down, I just need to put that video in and my mood does a 360° instantly lol

"They'd never be willing to explore publicly these questions that we were all raising with one another"

That's it. That's not some random person saying that, this is Glenn Greenwald saying that even influencers (for a lack of better term) are peer pressured into agreeing or at least being silent about the TQ+ narrative.
