A guy I knew in highschool transitioned, and that was the first experience i had with the whole thing. I tried really hard to be supportive and encouraging (I was a teenager, we all make bad/cowardly choices) but they still freaked when I screwed up their pronouns. I also saw them crucifying their aunt on facebook who was just trying to be supportive of them but made a tiny lexicographical mistake (and all their woke friends dogpiled the poor woman for "hate") and I decided to keep my distance to the extreme.

A few years later on reddit someone told me my repulsion to the term "boypussy" on account of it attributing a biological female reality to men was flawed, because not all men are masculine (and apparently that makes them women). I was later told its transphobic not to want to date people purely because they're trans. Naturally this peaked me in many different ways.

I guess my dirty old fashioned principles (Sexual autonomy, respect for women and believing GNC doesnt == opposite sex, so last decade) don't mesh well with the new hormone jacked world order.

Christ if I can remember, I think it was over 5 years ago now. You know how these types tend to explode over nothing, anyway. All I remember is distinctly saying to myself "Damn this is uncalled for"
