Ok, I'm sure that's a lovely breakdown or something but I don't have it in me to watch a long video about creepy-as-fuck fetishism. Anyone want to take one for the team and TLDR?

I had to watch/listen while folding laundry to take off the edge. It’s not too long of a video though because I still have a lot of laundry to put away lol.

I would summarize it as: yaoi fans have escaped a lot of scrutiny but they’re even creepier than fans of hentai, Lolita (if Loli is short for that), and just as bad as yuri (which I just learned is the lesbian equivalent) because yaoi combines all of the worst elements, plots, trends, etc. of all those other creepy and fetishizing fandoms (incest, pedophilia, tentacle stuff, bestiality, pregnancy fetishization, fetishizing of homosexual relationships, rape, all of the above) together. And that yaoi fans are even more out of touch than the other creepy fandoms because they’re obsessed with wanting to recreate it in real life with themselves (hence the countless screenshots of comments on yaoi videos about how the girls want to become gay men so bad and how they would make the best gay men).

Gotcha, that sounds like one of the most distinctive factors. I feel like AGP and the fetishization of lesbians by straight men is more broadly known and talked about than women fetishizing gay men. Maybe a bit of the "women are wonderful" benevolent sexism effect-- "oh, women would never do that (fetishize gay men), they're women" when really we are all just human beings and it absolutely is a pattern going on.

You haver never seen the Yuri reddit subs then. Like 90% of members are transbians and straight men on their way to become transbians. Lot's of trans grooming and insanity.

I'm relaying the message in the video. I don't pay attention to anime at all. And I think the video essentially equated yaoi and yuri but said that yaoi fans don't get enough scrutiny so they were called out specifically.
