Now I know it seems a tad small but this has me genuinely fucking mad. It was one of the first mainstream gay romances and also tackled alot of the difficult emotions that come with accepting yourself. It was the first big bits of representation, or it seemed that way to me. Fuck off with the "trans romance" shit already and just let us at least have this one thing.

The nerve of calling this series Make It Gay.

I might dislike it when they try to force queer as an umbrella term for us... But I hate it even more when they use gay as an umbrella term for them, especially in situations like this that they use the word "gay" while also making actual gayness problematic.

These people are ridiculous. What does trans have anything to do with this movie? It would make more sense and mean more to have gay men do it and have them be racially diverse. I love how they are honest about "queering a classic" though.
