Do they know you can respect someone without agreeing with their beliefs?

I'm atheist but respect religious people; just because I think they're mistaken it doesn't mean I hate them and we can't be friends. It's the same with these people, really.

It really isn't, unless you're an atheist who's pretending to be a Catholic.

Sorry, I don't follow you. Care to explain?

A woman who's fucking a man isn't a lesbian. and no man is a lesbian, thus there are zero lesbians in this example. Did I misinterpret your comment? I though you were saying that we should just let them claim to be lesbians.

Yes and no. I was talking about what "respect someone" means. TRAs think that if you don't believe what someone's says, you're not respecting them; whereas I say that respect is about human dignity and not mistreating people for their beliefs.

So, can they say that a man can be lesbian? Sure they can. People can claim all sort of things, otherwise we wouldn't have antivaxxers and flat-earthers. But do I have to believe them? Nope. And am I disrespecting them because of it? Fucking no.

I hope it's clear now.

Indeed and I agree.
