How are his supporters far right if he is not far right? It stands to reason that a large majority of avid fans of a particular politician would share that politican's core political beliefs, no?

I have been aware of The Donald since the 1980s, which is the first time I interacted with him. He was a joke back then too. But he was in on the joke to some extent.

Listen to Trump on old Howard Stern shows and you'll get some idea of what an entertaining flim flam man Trump was. The man was a reality game show host, for gawd's sake.

But Trump has no core beliefs. Beyond making money and expanding his brand.

He tells his supporters what they want to hear and throws at them legislation and conservative judges that they want like a caveman threw a bone to his dog pack.

Yes I also knew how Trump was before he became president. He was a celebrity, only the very, very young would have missed out on that.

Have you ever met any actual far right people? Nothing Trump has done or said is far right, and his policies actively anger them. He's clearly not pandering to the far right, and it makes no sense to say his supporters are the far right, because they're supporting a politician and policies which are not far right. Again, the real far right really doesn't like him. Richard Spencer is supporting Biden this year, for example.
