Whatever nefarious force(s) is actually pushing the Defund the Police and BLM stuff, as well as Trans, Inc., is not working for the Democrats.

It's all, especially the rioting designed to make the Democrats look bad, and it's worked.

The Democrats are fucking stupid with their identity politics, but the GOP will destroy what's left of the middle and working class.

The dems actually embrace the things you say they don't though.

Also the ACA was the biggest kick in the teeth to the working class since Nixon took us off the gold standard.

Trump promised to get rid of the the ACA (Obamacare) and bring us a much better health care plan. Where is it?

Trump has had four years and a Republican congress for half of it - where is Trump's super-duper health care, the best ever plan?

If you fancy dying of some easily curable disease that your insurance company refuses to pay for because... pre-existing condition or whatever, then vote Trump and the Republicans back in.

You'll be in good company because as the Republicans give COVID relief to their corporate pals, and not to small and medium businesses and AMERICAN CITIZENS, there will be millions of us on the street dying together.

I hate the Dems. But the Republicans have morphed into a party that only care about the 0.1%

[–][deleted] 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (18 children)

In regards to ACA yes nothing has been done with that and hopefully it gets addressed in his second term. The same argument could be made for Obama in his first two years when he had a fillibuster proof majority and all he did was pass the ACA which was trash. No prison reform, No major tax overhaul, nothing. In fact inequality got worse, as it has for a while now. Almost as if, I know this might be a shocker to you, the president can't do everything. If he could, we would be living in a dictatorship.

I fail to see how your argument against the GOP holds any water considering the Dems are as beholden to the 1% as the GOP is. It's not like one party alone got us to where we are. If the Dems REALLY cared wouldn't they have actually fixed healthcare instead of give a fat cash handout to insurance companies?

Like I said, I vote Libertarian usually. It's tiring to listen to self righteous, ignorant people like you claim that their party is better with the only argument in favor being fear and half truths.

I didn't vote for Obama - I am not even a Democrat - and have huge problems with what he did in Libya, Yemen, and other things, but I have actually seen Obama speak in person and I've interacted with Trump twice.

There is no comparison - Obama is obviously brilliant and he truly seemed to care about Americans.

Trump is a fucking buffoon. If I saw Trump walking down the street I would cross the street and cross myself, even without being Catholic. Maybe get some garlic and a stake.

Obama had to fight to get the ACA/Obama Care passed against some of the most powerful lobbies in the US, and had to compromise - as you said yourself, a president can't do everything.

When I was canvassing for the Democrats in 2018 (because I hate the current Republican party just that much) many of the people I spoke with actually loved Obama Care without knowing that their new health plan had been provided by the Hated Barack Hussein.

And I've seen that borne out in polls - that dumbo Republican Americans hated "Obamacare" but loved Obamacare, which they were too stupid to know were the same thing.

And seriously, we're on an anonymous message board, you have no idea what experiences other posters have so please refrain from attacking them personally.

Obama isn't really brilliant. He's just smooth. He's also super corrupt and could care less about the American people. $120,000,000 paycheck the first year out of office? Give me a break.

Trump is a fucking buffoon. If I saw Trump walking down the street I would cross the street and cross myself, even without being Catholic. Maybe get some garlic and a stake.

Whatever

Yes, he fought for dogshit and shat right in middle America's mouth.

When I was canvassing for the Democrats in 2018 (because I hate the current Republican party just that much) many of the people I spoke with actually loved Obama Care without knowing that their new health plan had been provided by the Hated Barack Hussein.

That's nice. My amazing plan of $40 a month is now over $400 a month and my new plan is dog. Also partisanship is nothing new. There have been plenty of video's showing people 100% agreeing with a plan and then finding out it was from Trump and doing a complete 180. You are very partisan already so I'm not sure how well this is going to land with you.

And I've seen that borne out in polls - that dumbo Republican Americans hated "Obamacare" but loved Obamacare, which they were too stupid to know were the same thing.

Polls? LOL ok. Again your partisanship is showing.

And seriously, we're on an anonymous message board, you have no idea what experiences other posters have so please refrain from attacking them personally.

By what saying you are ignorant and arrogant? Give me a break. Your entire stance is dripping with both of the aforementioned attributes. I'd say the same thing to your face if you had the guts to actually speak this way in person.

Like this is what I mean when I agree with now many others that the Far Right Trump Groupies, as exemplified by you, deserve the Antifa morons. You are both angry, violent and immune to logic.

Why don't you on the Far Right and the Far Left go fight it out on an island and leave the rest of us alone?

[–]dramasexual 6 insightful - 5 fun6 insightful - 4 fun7 insightful - 5 fun -  (9 children)

Trump is not far right lmao

[–]BEB 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (8 children)

The first time I interacted with Trump, decades ago, he was a liberal New Yorker.

And a failure. Donnie Dimbulb was a failed real estate speculator (even though he had been given a fortune by his dad) and tied to the heinous Roy Cohn and the New Jersey/ New York mob.

[–]dramasexual 6 insightful - 6 fun6 insightful - 5 fun7 insightful - 6 fun -  (7 children)

...and none of that makes him far right? What are you talking about.

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

You are a perfect example of why I don't join the left. I disagree with you and all of a sudden I'm a far right violent extremist who deserves violence upon them. Absolutely pathetic.

Feel free to point to anything, anything at all, were I've advocated or promoted violence.

Also calling someone who has same sex attraction "far right" prooves, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you are dillusional.

[–]BEB 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Your last sentences in your previous post - something about saying things face-to-face, which would make one think that you feel that political differences should be solved by violence.

And, I don't know how many times I have to say this, far from being on "the Left," I AM NOT EVEN A DEMOCRAT.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Oh I see. Words are literal violence now. You sounds like the TRA's. I said I would say what I wrote to your face. If you consider thay violence you are unhinged. It's a shame you dont grasp how your position is literally what you claim to be against.

I don"t care what political position you claim. You promote violence.

[–]dramasexual 5 insightful - 3 fun5 insightful - 2 fun6 insightful - 3 fun -  (6 children)

If the Dems wanted not to look bad they could have tried not openly supporting domestic terrorism lmao. If BLM and antifa were running around being the exact same monsters, but the dems were roundly condemning this horseshit, it wouldn't be rebounding on them like this. They look bad because they are bad.

[–]BEB 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

This is what is so wrong with this country: voters vote out of irritation on the small issues, rather than in their best interests.

The Republicans are allowing El Donaldo to destroy the rule of law. That sets a precedent for Presidents, and will destroy what's left of our representative republic.

Have any of you ever left the country?

Have you ever been a country where the oligarchs rule?

That will be America if Don the Con "wins."

[–]dramasexual 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (4 children)

small issues

Widespread domestic terrorism is a "small issue" in your view?

Have you ever been a country where the oligarchs rule?

Yeah brah America is already like that. Elections are about picking which ruling oligarchs we hate least. I gotta hand it to the dems, it was not easy to make Trump the lesser of two evils. They really had to put their back into it.

[–]BEB 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

America, under the Republicans, is rapidly becoming an oligarchy, but is nowhere near as bad as other countries.

Trump wants to be King Donald I (with Don Jr. next) - thanks for making him that.

My apologies to all who fought the Revolutionary War.

[–]dramasexual 5 insightful - 4 fun5 insightful - 3 fun6 insightful - 4 fun -  (2 children)

Oh I'm sure he wants to. He can't, though. I find it funny that you're shitposting about Donald Trump vs the "rule of law" when you have the opposing party backing actual anarchist terrorists actively burning down cities. You should look into what Donald Trump has actually done. He's a stupid narcissist, but he's not actually Hitler. And the democrats are absolutely not your friend.

Also, calm down. People disagreeing with you on the internet is not the end of the world.

[–]BEB 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I have traveled a lot, and for years my job was to pay attention to what was happening around the world.

So, as someone who actually watched in real time as countries went down the tubes, I am truly worried about Donnie Fatso and the Fat Cat Republicans retaining power.

[–]dramasexual 5 insightful - 4 fun5 insightful - 3 fun6 insightful - 4 fun -  (0 children)

Again, zero concern about widespread domestic terrorism backed by one of two ruling parties.

"Donnie Fatso" isn't giving me great confidence in your objectivity or reasonability here tbh.

[–]xanditAGAB (Assigned Gay at Birth) 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

It was working for a long time, as BLM raised a billion dollars, and corporations and media jumped on the bandwagon to support blm. But americans were seeing the looting and rioting that the media was trying to hide and now it's starting to backfire. Who was the rioting designed by? Not sure what you mean there. I still say the postmodern critical race/queer theory stuff is a bigger threat, IMO. We are teaching generations to hate their own country and not see any value in it, so that if it fell (or we "burn it all down") it wouldn't matter. And values like free speech go with it.

[–]SerpensInferna 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Good lord, I pray every night that it backfires big time, far more than it has. As much as I find the religious fundamentalists on the right distasteful, I see Marxism as a very real, huge threat to our beautiful, imperfect country right now and they must be defeated. I feel like I sound like a conspiracy theorist alarmist but the more I dig and read and find out the more horrifying I find our situation.
