Anyone else into tabletop RPGs? I've been playing a Star Wars RPG, and am now about to begin a LOTR one with the same group. My first D&D game was with a lesbian group I found on r/truelesbians.

I've played D&D (3e and 3.5e) and some other homebrew tabletop games previously, and I was DM for majority of games. Sadly my English level is too low to be DM of a level I am comfortable with. Played Pathfinder ACG, MTG, Ascention, Cthulhu ACG. That was around 8-10 years ago, nowadays, I don't really have time and will to invest in them :D

All the D&D or tabletop games I was participating in wound up going inactive during quarantine :((

There is Tabletop Simulator game on PC I was playing with few people I've used playing D&D before. We finished few Pathfinder campaigns there :D

Hell yeah dude, I love D&D! Actually working on writing a homebrew setting + campaign right now :D But I would love to branch out to other TTRPGS, anyone got any recommendations?

Neat! Homebrew can be great.

My recommendations? Depends on what you're into - I've only played the Star Wars Saga Edition and D&D 5e. SW Saga Edition has been fun. It's very similar to 5e. I've been playing a Force Prodigy, and there are a dizzying amount of races to choose from.

I can't yet recommend the LOTR Adventures in Middle Earth because we haven't actually started playing it yet. But I love my current group so it should be fun. I also haven't played Pathfinder so I can't compare that to 5e.

I kind of miss playing with lesbians because I'm not out to my current group. It consists of mostly my best friend's church group. But maybe someday I can get together a group of more like-minded people to play an RPG with.

Oh yeah, when you have a good group together you can have a fun time running anything. Was thinking about running Call of Cthulu but now I might also have to try Star Wars TTRPG lol
