I fully agree. And LGB folk are hardly the only ones being impacted by science denial. The Right Wing deniers are fueling the COVID-19 crisis and stopping meaningful progress on climate change. It seems to me that scientists need to get their asses in gear and spearhead a new social movement. Our very lives may depend on it!

The right wing is not denying the existence of COVID 19. The contention is with the analysis of the threat and strategy for how to best handle it. Same with climate change. Those are two issues that have not played out. Sex and gametes are not in play.
