Kamala Harris left California's 40 million residents to fend for themselves in order to run for president almost as soon as she got into the Senate. Now, she's leaving California, in the middle of a pandemic, and resultant economic disaster, to run for VP.

Why is no one calling her out on the fact that she didn't do her job as a Senator, yet they think she's fit to run for president (basically, because IMO Biden isn't going to last long)?

The word "flake" comes to mind, along with "opportunist." Hardly presidential, but then look who we have in the White House now...

But the fact that Harris doesn't seem to actually give a shit about constituents or her job is why I think that Harris also doesn't actually give a flying F about the L, G, B, T, Q, 2A, whatever. To her, it's all about political expediency. In that way, she's Trump-ish.

On the plus side, if Harris sees that the majority of the US is against penised "women" in their little Mykyla's locker room, she might drop the T too.

"Why is no one calling her out on the fact that she didn't do her job as a Senator...?"

Because it's California and everyone's used to it. If she did her job, half the state would die of shock... [Edit:] and they would count them as Covid deaths.

People used to call California the Land of Fruits and Nuts, but actually there are a lot of conservatives in California.

There are also a lot of immigrants in CA - it's something like 40% of CA households don't speak English at home - and many of them don't vote. A few years ago, I was shocked to find out that California has one of the lowest voter participation rates in the US.

The no one votes thing kind of explains why California just lets Harris and Feinsteins' corruption slide, and why the California state legislature could LARP as a lunatic asylum and no one would notice.

It is very obvious why, thought. A lot of mobile, IT-tech, movie, gaming, comics companies are all placed in California. And a lot of workers in those fields are often people who run from their countries to USA, as tech schools and universities are good in many countries in the world, which have no work places for tech specialists, so they are going to USA instead, and ending up somewhere in California.
