I actually agree with some of what they are saying, the drop the t movement does need to be careful with the “transphobia” it does no justice to our movement which is separating gender identity from being grouped with sexual orientation. I did sometimes see people misgendering potential trans allies on the old sub. Regardless of your view on gender, we need to approach this rationally and respectfully always. There’s other places you can criticise trans identified people, I wish LGBAlliance will take the same approach as it starts to pick up steam. I know that isn’t why the sun got banned, Reddit has been taken over, but it’s something that should always be considered when discussing dropping the T.

The chilling effect is in full err effect. Yes I agree for the most part. We should be 'better'. Tis tiring though, always having to ensure you are checking yourself to ensure you stay within the moral high ground. It is easy to fall when walking on tightropes after all.
