NyC seems like the kinda place that would be knee deep in the tra religion. Sigh. Hope you can find the diamond in the rubbles.

I’m not far away and would go there pretty frequently pre-COVID. I don’t know any non-indoctrinated lesbians from there. The lesbians from there that I know don’t even call themselves lesbians.

Well thats disappointing, I kinda wanted to maybe live in NYC some day, but if what you're saying is true, then I guess that won't be happening

straight people are usually pretty tolerant of lesbians even if they tolerate TRA they're not gonna dox you for not sucking dick. but you cant date straight people.most of the LGBT spaces that I've been at are fcking hell holes with half the lesbians identifying as nonbinary. Brooklyn community pride center has every flag hung up except for the lesbian flag. and the pride parade is a kink show

Sucking dick doesn't sound so bad to me. Of course, I am a gay man, and not a lesbian, so thats kind of a given. But sadly, I think what you said about LGBT spaces is happening everywhere (In the US at least). My college pride club is pretty much exclusively trans/non-binary and pansexuals. There may have been a few normal lesbians, but all I know for sure is there were 0 gay men, except for me the few times I went.

sucking dick isnt bad to you---obviously, you're attracted to men. but to me, the thought of sucking dick is as disgusting to me as licking a sewer rat. which is probably how you feel about vaginas. in addition to disgusting, it would be traumatic

Manhattan and Brooklyn are hellholes, Bronx, Queens, and Staten Island are nice though. Luckily those are the burrows that have the cheapest rent. The more working class an area is the less TRA shit their is.

Cynical advice: Just keep patiently swiping through the unicorn hunters, they/them genderflux demiboys, and AGPs on the dating apps until you hit jackpot and find a compatible girlfriend. And in the mean time, make some normie straight friends and hang out with them. The ᴸᴳᴮTTT community in any big democratic city is not the right place to seek friends or lovers, at least if you're a lesbian.

Bi woman in NYC! I like the big bi community. Is a tough place to be LGB and GC though. I went on a date with a lesbian a few months ago and she said is very much against having any sexual interaction with a penis but would give a pre op trans woman a chance because “it would be wrong not to.” That TRA shaming/brainwashing is poison.
