We don’t hate trans people or TRAs themselves, but boy do TRAs hate us. Just look at how they’ve reacted to J.K. Rowling. She never once said she hated trans people, but, according to TRAs, she did and has effectively signed their death certificates, while she herself has received threats of violence. Anyone else who dare says something like “lesbians aren’t attracted to men or penises” gets the same treatment.

I checked DropTheT on reveddit almost every day for a month before we got banned, and it was full of posts by TRAs calling us assholes and transphobes. TRAs flooded with hateful and spiteful comments my post on r/reclassified (what should be a neutral ground) about r/TrueLesbians’s demise. It got so bad I had to ask the mods to lock the post.

Yet we’re the hateful ones.

TRAs and their allies claim we’re dividing the community with our exclusionary rhetoric, but they don’t realize they’re pushing us farther away by constantly vilifying and attacking us. TRAs are a much more hateful movement than us. Why haven’t any of them put this together yet?

The way they go about their hate is so bizarre too. The other day I was watching a Graham Linehan video about the erasure of female only spaces and I commented that a lot of GC male spaces were still up on reddit (at the time, they've since been axed too). Some trans girl decided to comment "thanks for giving me another sub to report! that's nice of you." I didn't interact or engage because they feed on validation and being seen. But I was just like. Why are you here on a gender critical video for the sole purpose of trans crusading? There were no questions posed in good faith, no genuinely wanting to understand the GC viewpoint, only YAY ANOTHER TERF SUB I CAN GET BANNED REEE.

Most sane individuals don't go out of their way to get spaces banned just because they don't agree with the views expressed there. But this is why people are peaking all over the place. It's very reminiscent of radical Christians that tried to ban Harry Potter books when they first came out. For all of TRAs "we just want to pee" or "we just want to exist" or "we just want basic rights" they sure don't know how to live and let live.

They really are. My kneejerk reaction was to say something like "Don't you have something better to do?" but I knew it would only turn into some back and forth nonsense where they're high off provoking a "terf" and I'm shaving years off my life by spiking my blood pressure for no reason. The thing they're afraid of the most and the thing that makes them the most angry is not being seen. So they're invisible to me when they try to pull that shit. Any rabid TRAs who try to get a rise out of me will be met with, dare I say it, a stone wall.

No. No, they don't, and that's exactly the point. As much as it pains me to watch their online crusading, I'm starting to realize just how much of their free time a lot of TRAs seem to spend online. It seems to be more than the average young adult/teen. How else can we explain their omnipresence on every single social media platform, when they are such a tiny portion of the people we encounter IRL? For a lot of these people, posting hate online, reporting content they don't like, and being a general annoyance to everyone else trying to share an online space is literally their only hobby.

I had something similar happen on that same thread on r/reclassified. Proof. I made the mistake of engaging them, but it just really pissed me off. Someone else called me a TERF because I refused to take the post down. More proof. What do they gain by antagonizing and bullying us? I firmly believe in the right to speak freely, but god I wish they'd shut the fuck up and leave us alone. It is entirely their fault that we got banned from Reddit. They'll follow us to the ends of the earth until they destroy all wrongthink.

That's so fucking annoying holy shit. Like really, why are you here if all you're going to do is announce how happy you are about getting another sub banned? I would understand if they came to the opposing side wishing to have a discussion or ask questions but very rarely are they interested in that.

My theory is that the majority of these types of trans people are narcissists with several other developmental disorders. Because most people can disagree with someone without feeling the need to silence them entirely. Again, I make the comparison to radical Christians because the screenshots you shared remind me of those people who feel like it's their job to tell anyone who doesn't share their beliefs how much of a sinning heathen they are. It's even got that condescending, sickly sweet tone to it as well. "Oh honey, bless your heart. God loves you but you're going to burn in hell :)"

It is very strange. My sister was on the detrans sub yesterday, which was briefly banned, probably because of TRAs reporting it en masse, and she was so discouraged seeing how many TRA stopped in to comment things to the effect of “well your community deserves it because it’s been infiltrated by TERFs!”, and “I’m hitting the report button right now!”

Over and over again. They can’t let other people just be. They go out of their way to shut down not just political or philosophical opponents, but to shut up neutral people who fail to sufficiently validate them enough. It’s what cluster B disorders look like when organized, mobilized, and supported by ignorant ally idiots intoxicated with “woke” fever and fervor.

Couldn't have said it better. It's honestly so sad and so scary what things have come to. Detrans is on thin ice. It always has been but even more now than ever. It makes me sad because it was the second community on reddit I really felt at home in.

Ah, but didn't you know? Our arguments, concerns and our friendliness/civility is just an alt-right dog-whistle. What we're actually saying is that trans people don't exist. You know, I was thinking the same thing today. I happened to visit r/AgainstHateSubreddits, and there was a huge post about getting rid of us, all about what horrible scum we all are and how overjoyed they are that we got banned.

There is definitely a lot more hate from them towards anyone who challenges gender ideology than I've seen from people in this group. Self-righteousness is a very addictive drug.

And they are still patrolling, looking for the next subreddit they can target and get rid of in their puritanical campaign. It has simply never occurred to me to want to police other people's language and behavior in this way. That other people have different opinions doesn't bother me that much. What wrong with me?

Agree completely with this—it has NEVER even occurred to me to seek out opinions I disagree with for the sole purpose of removing their ability to be expressed. Who the fuck does that!? It’s really abnormal, and it seems very unique to this particular movement.

What really sets us apart from the TRAs and TQ+ is that we realise that they're delusional and talking bollocks.

I'm a gay man and in the country I live in up until the age of 21 I could be imprisoned for LIFE for having sex with another man.

These whining twats who go ballistic because you don't 'respect their pronouns' and expect you to 'suck girldick' are attention seeking fuckwits who need to get out of their mother's basement, lose some weight and buy some deodorant.

Even then the only date they're likely to get is one that you buy in a box at Christmas with a plastic fork.

It's really sad when they recruit young teens/pre-teens, get them all riled up, and send them our way. And these kids don't even know how to troll properly. They just rush in and post a cartoon meme with like a gun or some other violent imagery on it, or go "FUCK TWANSPHOBES UWU!" and then run away to brag about their accomplishments and we're just sitting here like.................... Okay.

And if you go through those kids post histories, some of them post photos of themselves and it's the most tragic thing. These kids are obviously neglected by their parents, posting sexualized photos of themselves, desperate for attention from anyone. And instead of being kind and gentle to these kids, and encouraging them to pump on the breaks, calm down, and not jump to conclusions about themselves, these TRA are making them feel like "If you want to be one of us and be part of the cool kid trans uwu cool pronoun gang of sexy anime cat people, you need to admit that you're a trans egg uwu right now, and then prove your loyalty."

There used to be these undercover reporter women who would infiltrate the pro-ana boards and then write expose articles/books about us. I wish someone would pose as a 12 year old boy/girl and infiltrate TRA-world and do a massive expose about how predatory to kids they really are.

I agree that it’s needed, but any journalist who did that would have their editors bury the article. If somehow it got published they’d be mobbed, denounced as a terf nazi, fired or forced to resign, and their career would be fucked.

Hell, the very milquetoast “free speech” letter that a bunch of notable figures signed led to a controversy at Vox, as one of the editors there published a tantrum saying she felt “unsafe” that her colleague had signed it or some shit.

I’m so fed up with contemporary discourse on the left that idk what to do. Everything seems useless. We have so much bigger things to worry about than someone “feeling unsafe” because their colleague openly supports open discourse. It all kind of makes me sick.

TRAs are addicted to anger. Having known an anger addict irl they would have the same online presence as these people-scream a lot, stalk dissenting opinions and report or try to ban them, feel superior, make no real positive changes in their life to become more stable or happy. It’s not a coincidence these “activists” are usually suffering a mental illness(as someone with my own the different is I don’t fetishize it) are out of shape, and inactive in their actual real life community.

Chances are most of them don´t want to even entertain the thought that "our" side might not be 100% wrong. Some live in a bubble where everything trans is good without fault and everyone who doesn´t completely agree with them is a hatefull right-wing-TERF. And some are desperate to stay in that bubble instead of challenging their own beliefs. And of course not all of them spend time browsing trans-critical subs like this one, so the only thing they know about us is what the bigger voices in the trans movement say about us... and I guess you all know what they say.

By packaging themselves as the progressive, open-minded, woke side, TRAs have made it extremely difficult for women (especially young women!) to speak out against them for fear of seeming bigoted. I'm holding out hope that the time will come, though -- our voices are finally starting to be heard by people outside these bubbles. People are peaking every day

I honestly don’t think that the people that are really, really, deep into this shit are capable of self-insight. There are a few and they get out, but clearly not enough do at this point. The movement as a whole is an echo chamber that is given positive reinforcement online. Now, society has caved in and that is another layer of positive reinforcement.

Mods had to deal with a lot of crap from the tracists there. I don't know why they couldn't stick to their trans-cowed subs. They were more than large enough and plenty full of woke allies to re-enforce their delusions. But they just couldn't leave well enough alone. Its like that comic of that long neck character stretching their neck from far outside all the way into the back of someone's cabin where they were sitting at a table in order to say to them, "leave me alone."

Yes, it is the viciousness with which they react that troubles me so much. The original LGB welcomed them into the alphabet in good faith. We clearly had zero idea of their social contagion and that seriously damaged people would be drawn to the T.

Lack of hate is the problem here. Only way to defeat them is to out-hate them. When someone is yelling at you illogical nonsense mixed with threats, you do NOT reply with a calm and collected argument. Because if you do, you'll be right - but you'll lose. Playing their game is the way to win. Making them scared that their same tactics will be used against them is what will make them think twice.
