I'm just glad I had found the sub on Reddit with enough time to see the notices and reminders from the mods about coming here. I was in GC and while I felt welcome in that community it didn't meet all my needs and answer all the questions I had - DroptheT filled that gap really well.

I just am worried about other Reddit users in the future who won't have that. The first thought for me of "you know, being lumped together as LGBT is harmful for both communities and doesn't serve everyone properly" was met with being able to quickly find a community that also recognised that - what will people learning this in the future do? It's pretty upsetting.

A lot more people are aware of Saidit now. But also, I think people won't be using reddit much in the future. It's a really shitty community and the people running the site are just really bad at it, and that's why we have these problems.
