ABOUT US
We are a group of lesbians, gay men and bisexuals who believe our hard won victories and rights are under threat. We want to ensure the voices of lesbians, gay men and bisexuals are amplified in public and political discourse affecting our lives.
We stand up for our right to live as same-sex attracted people without discrimination or disadvantage. We uphold the definition of homosexuality as sexual orientation towards people of the same sex, and of bisexuality as sexual orientation towards people of both sexes.
We believe that biological sex is observed at birth and/or in the womb, and is not assigned. Being a boy or a girl is not a feeling. There are two sexes.
We work to protect children from harmful, unscientific ideologies that may confuse them into believing their personality or their body needs changing. We oppose "gender identity" teachings in school, and insist on responsible, fact-based curriculum.
RULES
We promote respectful freedom of speech and informed dialogue on issues concerning the rights of lesbians, gay men and bisexuals. We assert that different opinions, even those we may disagree with, should be heard as part of the public debate.
