I mean gamergate is the reason I first joined reddit (because I always try to read the other side of an argument).

The reason it's still not over is that neither side won. The gamers were right that SJW are wrong and divisive to keep pushing tokenism and woke nonsense but the SJWs are right that there are a number of nasty individuals in gaming and mobbing women because their boyfriend gets buthurt when dumped isn't a great thing to do.

I think at this point the only way its going to end is if the sensible people in the middle drop their tribalism, come together and kick their respective extremes out of respectable society.

The person who wrote this article should be ridiculed but so should the people in it. Neither should be held up as being representative of gaming culture, they are all outliers.

I simply don't care about women's problems. They're not my problems, you see. If they don't like it they can go home. Sexual harassment is an annoyance, not a crime.

And gaming culture, like most cultures, is a bunch of dumb normies doing normie shit. It's always a clusterfuck, because normies are all liars and narcissists.

Who is we? I assume most people are bad people, that anything trendy is tainted, and that most sides on all debates are delusional. I don't care about 'sexism' and, while I personally detest the idea of equality of any sort, I certainly am not going to repeat myself by constantly pointing out that narcissistic whores in different industries actually lack the talent to justify their position.

What's amazing to me is people who are still shocked by this shit and keep mulling over the same things again and again.
