This shouldn’t even be a topic for work. If Cisco does not allow any questioning of his complex social issue, why don’t they skip the charade and simply issue a statement to their employees to tell the employees what they think?

True, and unfortunately it's pretty much all tech companies. Not just Cisco. It's a dire world to be employed in this field.
