UK had an 80% wow drop, makes sense since those pre-order sales aren't around to hold this burning flagship down.

It's why Sony was so aggressively abusing DMCAs. They got their money, Cuckman's idiocy might have future consequences, but it's only the retailers and buyers that immediately lose out.

This seems like something you might expect for a game that's heavily promoted and anticipated ahead of its release date. Would be interested to see figures for other "AAA" titles.

If anything, this validates Sony's strategy of control who gets review copies, because enough idiots trust "trusted" media and will buy on day one. You might argue that the best strategy is to make a better game, but outside of this, and setting aside moral impediments, Sony has played a blinder.

I think Sony was smart enough to know people didn't want this game, but because of ideology and money already invested they tried to push through.

As far as controlling the gaming media - that is nothing new. Companies have been doing that for decades. It's just more blatant and if you face now.
