That sentiment has literally been on endless replay for 3 years. On every comedy show, every talk show, everything. For 3 years. They faked a whole impeachment with no evidence over it, and more.

How anyone thinks this is a novel idea at this point is astounding. It's like buying a jar of peanut butter and then thinking you invented peanut butter.

Presumably this is a joke.

I think Shaun is joking, but Alyssa Milano isn't

Yeah, you're right. It actually took reading your comment to realize this.

Fifteen years ago, this type of sarcasm was obvious on-sight to my under-developed brain while trolling odd message boards.

Today, I am amazed that I misread this and even, at times, The Bee and other satire headlines at face value before seeing the source.

But then again, when I actually do question absurdity, it ends up actually being true. Shrug. 🤡🌎

I think when we're younger we just think we're good at spotting sarcasm because we're so confident in our world view. But in reality as we age we see the many shades of gray and how ambiguous many things really are, and how many different opinions people truly hold. I think that's what makes it so hard. It's not that our abilities have gotten worse, but actually that they've gotten better. We understand a broader variety of perspectives, so we can empathize with all the various viewpoints more easily.

We can only hope.

If anything, it's the opposite that's true. It takes more guts to say you support Trump, for that's what's more liable to get you banned, canceled, fired, and threatened. And that's been the case since before he was elected.

It's absolutely brave to say something that the masters tell them to say, don't you know?
