As long as we get rid of the mainstream we are doing our work.
What it really means is the ones with the money to bribe everyone, and the lawyers to sue anyone who threatens your bribed journalism entity, and defend yourself from other oligarchs. And pay security guards at your station hq. And eventually this all ties back to corporate personhood, and other major elements of the dominant cultural hegemony that has no interesst in truth, or any other ideal.
archive.is is the new not-mainstream, more like a backbone, and the static website for independent creators with well-moderated forus is either the future, or there will be no future, just remakes of the past, like we have had since approximately 1963.
