Singapore is a very fascinating country. Ostensibly a democracy, but actually closer to a dictatorship. Their leader is probably the most intelligent of all the world leaders. Basically a philosopher king or enlightened despot. He studied Mathematics at Cambridge University (arguably top university for math in the world). And he studied at the Trinity college of Cambridge (they have a bunch and trinity is the most prestigious). And he became the "senior wrangler" which means he was top of his class.

I don't support their method of government, but I do enjoy watching it from afar as an interesting case study.
