Meh, apps (and reactive/mobile designs) are for normies anyway. Real Redditors Saidittors use websites in Desktop Mode only.

I'm very curious what's up with the lack of IRC. It seemed like an interesting feature when I read about it in the welcome post, but it doesn't seem to be active on any sub right now.

It seems to be down. Genuinely, you might be able to contact the admins and ask about it, or post on the main page.

If we really want, I (or even you) could make an IRC chat, they're not super difficult.

I did ask on the Welcome to Saidit post, and was told that IRC would be back "eventually". I was more interested in the integration between Saidit and IRC than the actual presence of IRC, but maybe it would be fun to have our own channel. I'll leave the decision to you and Antonio and the others, though.
