Democrats screwed up. No way anyone is banning guns for a while in the US. They just lost a lot of anti-2nd Amendment supporters with the government's incompetent handling of the riots and calls to defund the police. The right play would be to allow the police to do their job and handle everything so you can claim "ordinary people owning guns is harmful to the community." Now people are seeing they need to own a gun to have a fighting chance because the police aren't even allowed to do their jobs anymore.

Yep, a huge surge of first time gun owners in this country right now. People are finally seeing why there is a 2nd amendment, to protect yourself against tyranny, except tyranny in this case is not the government, but the morality police of the far left.
