I filtered based on how their parents named them. If the parents hung a racial name on them they tended to "keep it real" too much. Racially neutral names worked for me.

The right way to do it would be to remove identifying factors (name, race, gender) off the application for employment, then choose who you want to interview based on the actual content of the resume. We need to be putting the most qualified person in a position. If that means that they are all white, who cares? I am all for equality of opportunity, but forcing equality of outcome is wrong. The majority of the NBA is black and no one seems to care about that, why isn't that an issue? It's ok for a particular job to be dominated by a particular race as long as it isn't white? The city is partnering with a company called Flock Safety. As part of a pilot program with the National Police Foundation, Flock will install 25 fixed cameras that automatically scan-and-store license plate numbers.

Police told council the cameras will not be used for traffic enforcement.

So they are installing cameras to spy on everyday citizens, got it. And this is a private company, Flock Safety, they are probably selling all of the data to other tech companies. Citizens in the area should look at removing or inhibiting the cameras... in a legal way of course.

If you take the sub off of /all then you can moderate and remove however you want. The option is in the sub settings. It is the second option in the other options section near the bottom of the sub settings. Uncheck the checkbox and click save. I can do it for you if you would like.

Rules 4a and 4b of the rules for moderators basically give two choices. To remain on /all the moderators are forbidden from removing dissenting opinions that are on-topic and in good faith. To be able to remove dissenting opinions then the sub has to be taken off of /all which might substantially reduce traffic.
