Ah, this is what's known as a "bullshit self-serving narrative." The press wants everyone to protect the press. Well there's news.

The press has repeatedly and with malicious intent lied to us, kept the truth from us, and in general engaged in left-wing politics with their coverage. We didn't choose this fight, they did. They have made themselves into the enemy of the people.

Considering the context, I believe the article is in response to the news reporters' "unpleasant" interaction with the police amidst protests.

It is reasonably ethical to use one's power to protect themselves from unjust harm.

To clarify your statements and avoid unnecessary conflict- when you say the press has lied with malicious intent, are you generalizing the entire press as a medium or are you addressing any specific organizations, if so, which ones? What is your definition of "left-wing politics" and who or what do you consider to be a part of it? Which fight are you referring to and how do you conclude they did it themselves? Who exactly is "people"?

LOL. Okay, have you been in a coma since 2016? The media went from quietly lying to openly lying. They dare us to call them on it, and when we do, their buddies in Big Tech delete our posts.

The harm is just; it has been earned by the tremendous amount of damage the media has done to us with its lies.

Remember how ABC could have broken the news about Jeffrey Epstein, but didn't? They let children be raped. Literally. And when the story was leaked to the public and we all got to know the truth, ABC's reaction was...to contact CBS and get a low-level staffer fired.

Let that sink in...the only person fired as a result of the media's Jeffrey Epstein coverup was the poor young production assistant who clipped that moment and saved it to an internal ABC system. She swears she didn't leak it but ABC made an example of getting her fired from CBS News even though she didn't work for them any more. This was to serve as an example for the rest of the industry to show what happens if you let the people know the truth. Not a single executive at ABC News or Disney, their parent company has answered for it.

Multiply this times a million all across the industry.

Unfortunately I do not have enough knowledge or credible information to form a healthy opinion regarding the case of Jeffrey Epstein or the incidents involved. I do understand that some authorities are capable of, and will use their power to make things happen that can be claimed "legally" correct; that is basically using loopholes to avoid legal trouble.
