Welcome, glad to have you here! Your last sentence is just what saidit needs to keep the site's culture moving in a good direction, and nothing could be more important to this site in the long-term than that.

<3 Yeah. I've been trying my best so far, but ya know, with a lack of censorship comes a bit of idiocy. I don't mind it, just as it doesn't leak into the main subreddits, if you know what I mean (ex. let's not be voat).

Agreed! This site used to be called antiextremes.com, referencing avoiding the extremes of reddit (censorship) and voat (right-wing extremism) so it's literally in our mission charter, right in the name of the site. We hope never to become voat. And the great thing for us is that voat already exists, so if we come across those types we can send them to voat. They'll be happier there, and we'll be happier without them. Win-win.

I think we have a good chance here.
