For the record, for the new comers, chat resets twice a day. Used to be whoever came on first got it, and that worked well. Until Jason here decides he needs to reform chat. He starts coming on beating everyone to Op every day on two channels, to lord over them. It was pathetic. So instead of everyone getting a shot at Op, this asshole ruined it. And it was not benevolent, every day he'd set the bans of people he didn't want in chat.
