eeek. good luck. Non political content is pretty well contained, but the site is flooded with politics, and the leftists are starting to come here in droves.

but... no downvotes, so post quality content and the site stays sane.

Left and right alike are getting banned for wrongthink. There's like a whole terf/feminism/lesbian section to saidit that I hardly ever visit because I know at least in the lesbian sub they don't want dudes commenting, which makes rather a bit of sense.

The terf's are a trip to talk to. They seem based and make a lot of sense, then if the topic drifts off transpeople, you realize they're still hate-filled feminists.

This. I am pretty left wing on many things, but no way do I associate myself with the american left. There's only black and white to those people.

That said the nature of this site is to accept reddit refugees - who became such due to their political views - so would be hard to avoid politics here.
