This is indeed a free speech board, but as more people like you join, it gets increasingly attacked by corporate/state sponsored shills who use the free speech here as a cover to degrade the discussion (at best), push their agendas and sow division (at worst).
Feel free to check this resource thread to better recognize their tactics - once you start noticing the patterns (which is a daily occurrence here), you'll be less easy to influence with their tactics.
