The last big banning of different communities made me disappointed

My favorite subs were ConsumeProduct, as well as encouraging fellow kings in CleanLivingKings. I’m also a fan of reading Gender Critical opinion pieces (I believe most cases of Transgenderism are fetishes of men). Anyway, I hope there can be hobbyist communities here to so it’s not all political.

Welcome. There are more and more hobby communities popping up as saidit grows, and I hope to see more of them too!

Many people come here from censorship on subs like consumeproduct or gendercritical, so those types of disucssions are what matters more to them. The hobbyists subs don't get bothered by reddit, so they're content to stay. But at some point I imagine the censorship will even start affecting those subs, and they will begin to migrate to saidit as well. It will take time though.

But like we often say here on saidit, be the posts you want to see in the world! The communities can only grow if someone first plants the seeds with a few posts.

Over time the expectation of political correctness/wokeness creeped into a lot of different areas of life that I never would have expected, and it also grew to cover more and more ground until it got impossible to adhere to. It'll spread everywhere eventually unless there's pushback from the rational people who have been playing along with it or shutting up lol

Consume product had some idiots in the comments sometimes but had a lot of funny posts. s/consumeproduct can be found here, hopefully it picks up some traction
