Upon signing up I realized I simply needed to type what I saw in the image instead of doing an awful google captcha. I'm not a fan of google as a company (for many reasons), and not a fan of wasting time either, so there we go. And it hit me that the default layout resembles the older reddit theme instead of the stupid new one. I imagine it's less bogged down with javascript and such, it certainly feels more nimble. That would mean less bandwidth and better compatibility too, I'm down for that. This layout also feels more functional/organized/accessible to me.
Anyways, none of my regular subs were banned. I don't think the big social media companies should be regulated, but I don't think they should front this shitty corporate attitude that carefully curates public discourse either. It feels good to support the competition.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
