I've been using Saidit since WatchPeopleDie got banned, I originally only used VOAT, but Saidit had a nice layout so I stuck around. I don't usually create accounts, but it seemed I'd have to so as to point out that the approach Saidit is taking to Reddit's censorship will make it end up like Reddit.

These people from predominantly left-wing ideological subs migrating to Saidit, are bad news. The reality is the current political climate in the West and on Reddit exists mainly due to people who think like this, they're like the snake that couldn't stop from devouring itself. I understand that Saidit wants to be big, so courting these people from Reddit will increase their user base, but it will end up in Saidit selling out just like Reddit.

Eventually the "sponsors" or "advertisers" are going to start knocking at the door, and Saidit will make a ridiculous amount of money from it, and eventually they'll start setting rules, like they did on Reddit, and Saidit will be hooked on the money, and it's the same cycle over again.

I'm well aware that right-wing is just as shitty as left-wing, I'm not trapped in this little paradigm, however these feminists, anarchists, all of these types of people are like trojan horses. Any time that anyone tries to bring these left-wingers and right-wingers together, it always backfires, people will become more trapped in the paradigm. Left-wing ideology creates problems that right-wing ideology can't solve, it's the same cycle of destruction all over again people. You can quote me few years from now when Saidit has to bend for some money.
