Opinions aren't censored here although many with try to shame you with the "pyramid of debate". Other than that it's pretty chill other than far right/far left rhetoric that gets parroted and circle jerked. Just remember you can mute subs that don't interest you or w.e, makes it a lot better experience.

Yeah the extremists are here but I think it's OK in a free speech kind of way. The trick is not to let them take over.

I'm curious how the pyramid of debate could shame someone. It seems to me more like a guideline to keep discussion good.

Shame is never a good thing. It's a tool to control and so some who live in fear find it a precious tool with which to gaslight and box in others.

No one who lives with shame lives a free life.
