I keep hearing about how our governments wants to do something big to the Internet soon. This may be a first step.

/u/LarrySwinger2, perhaps we should set up a TOR portal on Cassandra for private SaidItor use?

Also, I think RabbitHole.wf is down. Last week we had some power outages, so maybe the router reboot got a new IP. Also, weegs and I got an instance of Lemmy going on Cassandra (not yet online) and whatever he did may have messed with something. Not sure if that instance will stay or not. It wasn't in Docker. I'd rather have the 2 Lemmy instances on the VPS. Movim next. Then YaCy and then...

The attack started 10 days ago. I do not know how big it is, but given the resources you need to last that long, this could well be a government level attack.

Also given that even after this time people at Tor still haven't find a potential mitigation solution, I assume that this is an attack on a large scale.

In the past, the FBI attacked the network in order to identify the people behind Silk Road and a lot of other illegal websites. You don't think it's something like that again?
