I keep hearing about how our governments wants to do something big to the Internet soon. This may be a first step.

The attack started 10 days ago. I do not know how big it is, but given the resources you need to last that long, this could well be a government level attack.

Also given that even after this time people at Tor still haven't find a potential mitigation solution, I assume that this is an attack on a large scale.

What does it mean to "scrub the Internet"?

I keep hearing that phrase. I forgot it for my last comment.

The internet is being sanitized, unapproved sites are deranked or even delisted. Related to the dead internet theory.

In the past, the FBI attacked the network in order to identify the people behind Silk Road and a lot of other illegal websites. You don't think it's something like that again?

Time will tell.
