How come the internet can no longer handle anything beyond a 'tweet's length compared to 10 years or more ago?

I see it in all circles. Even Fanfiction the longest hold out many genres now are just ship fics or novels that are just the script of the story,etc. News comments were the first to go this 'tweet' route. I'd post more examples but nobody reads beyond a post even on here so I am not bothering anymore .

Have you seen what the schools are "graduating" these days? They are about dumb as dirt and they sit around playing those stupid ass video games. They can't even count back change when the cash register tells them how much to give back. Just the other day I had one ask me if a quarter and 2 dimes was 45 cents.

To be fair there isn't a lot of situations where you'll need to know exact change these days it's like learning how to be a mechanic for a model A and then try to get into the Tesla mechanical field and think you'll zoom ahead even if you know every inch of your Model A you'll be laughed out.

I hoped with Trump it would pick back up as he wanted to end a lot of bad stuff and did some of it.

Yeah I axtually liked myspace years ago, I'd write long journal type posts and people would reply to them, I liked looking at others pages to see what they were up to. Also could edit your own page a lot. I think they took it down partly to help fb and twitter get more popular with their short lowest common demoniator posts

And also Myspace was a great place to get raped. It wasn't just an urban legend. Teenagers were going to shady places without their parents knowledge and getting screwed in a bad way that would taint them the rest of their lives................that is if they lived to tell about it.

Nobody wants that high insurance risk hanging.
