Go to instances.invidio.us. The one I listed isn't on the list, and another one is vid.hyena.network...which is down for maintanence now, and is also buggy. Honestly, while it's a good idea, they're all a bit buggy. I will continue to use them for as long as youtube is around, but I'm really starting to like peertube instances.

Yeah I've gone there already that's how I chose snopyta. The other ones are shit as well. In regards to your comment on peer tube, obviously we would all prefer youtube to be gone but it isn't going anywhere anytime soon so while we are all working on getting people to switch to peertube we can't just abandon all the other content, that's why invidious is useful.

Of course not. There was a golden age but it is long gone. All we can do now is try to build infrastructure that safeguards against the structures that allowed us to come to be in this current place i.e. federation like in the case of peertube
