Why not just use an ad blocker? Or even a script blocker/tracker blocker against the ad networks?

    You're talking about the thing with the address bar suggestions? I always turn those off because they annoy me.

    I use Brave myself (a web browser that blocks ads and trackers), but I'm sure some people will find a use for it.

    Using YouTube's logo as their favicon will probably get them into legal trouble, though, since YT's always looking for ways to beat down stuff like this.

    Nice. The free adblockPlus browser plugin/addon does that too.

    When I see youtube without it, it's like watching tv again, it's shocking how many ads there are and how annoying it is.

    I almost always download videos and watch them offline.
